South Africa Playing 11 vs Zimbabwe- Match 4, Zimbabwe T20I Tri Series 2025

Zimbabwe will be up against South Africa in the fourth game of the tri-nation series. This article provides details about South Africa’s Playing 11 vs Zimbabwe for the fourth match of the series.

South Africa Playing 11 vs Zimbabwe- Match 4, Zimbabwe T20I Tri Series 2025:

Openers: Reeza Hendricks, Lhuan-dré Pretorius (wk)

South Africa will begin the innings against Zimbabwe in the fourth match of the tri-series with Reeza Hendricks and Lhuan-dré Pretorius.

The openers will look to get the team off to a quick start in the upcoming game, like they were able to do in the second match of the series against New Zealand.

Having said that, they will have to prolong the opening partnership to exert more pressure on the opposition, as it is something both batters failed to accomplish in the same match against New Zealand.

Both Pretorious and Hendricks got off to a start individually as well, but were not able to convert it into a big score, and would like to correct that in the match against Zimbabwe.

Hendricks scored 16 runs off 12 balls, and Pretorius played a quick innings of 27 runs off 17 balls, getting off the mark in T20I cricket in the process.

The openers will play a crucial role if the Proteas have to increase their chances of winning the game by forming a solid partnership for the first wicket.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Rassie van der Dussen (c), Rubin Hermann, Dewald Brevis, Senuran Muthusamy, Corbin Bosch, Gerald Coetzee, George Linde

The opening pair will be followed by a middle order, which has had a mixed outing in the two matches that South Africa has featured in so far in the tri-nation series.

The middle order took on Zimbabwe’s bowlers in the opening match of the series and chased a below-par score in quick time, whereas the middle order, with a single change, found it difficult to get going against New Zealand.

A batting lineup that comprises batters like Dewald Brevis and Corbin Bosch, who are coming on the back of good performances in the Test series and in the first match of the tri-series, will look to get things right.

The Proteas captain, Rassie van der Dussen, will have to take responsibility and guide the team to an important win.

Bowlers: Kwena Maphaka, Lungi Ngidi

The visitors are expected to retain the same bowling combination that took the field in the last match against New Zealand.

If the South African management decides to stick with the same bowling lineup, then the team will have six bowling options in the playing XI.

Proteas would want fast bowlers Kwena Maphaka and Lungi Ngidi to pick early wickets for the team. The duo will be supported by all-rounder Corbin Bosch, who will act as the third seamer.

Senuran Muthusamy and George Linde will take care of South Africa’s spin bowling department and will look to take wickets in the middle overs.
