Ravichandran Ashwin debunks viral social media claims over Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s retirement

However, a viral social media making a shocking claim about the retirement of Indian skipper Rohit Sharma and star batter Virat Kohli didn’t go well with him.

Ravichandran gives a sarcastic reply on viral claims

A viral post on the social media platform X recently claimed that Ashwin had stated Rohit is targeting a spot in the 2027 ODI World Cup, while Virat Kohli might retire soon to spend more time with his family. However, Ashwin swiftly took to his X account to debunk the rumors, humorously responding to the person who posted the viral claim. ,

“Heartwarming to see humans still excelling at creative storytelling in this AI era. Nice script, but maybe check with me next time before casting me in the lead role?,” Ashwin replied on X. While some users claimed they had heard the statement on Ashwin’s Tamil YouTube channel, the authenticity of these quotes remains unverified.
