Premier League: West Ham v Arsenal

Match Preview

After returning to winning ways with comprehensive victories over Nottingham Forest and Sporting CP, Arsenal are looking for their third win in the space of seven days away at London rivals West Ham.

The Gunners will be favourites heading to the London Stadium as they look to claw back their nine-point deficit behind leaders Liverpool but come up against a Hammers who will hope Monday’s 2-0 win at Newcastle can spark a surge up the table.

Julen Lopetegui’s men have struggled with inconsistency this term, following up their most recent victories over Ipswich and Manchester United with defeats to Tottenham and Nottingham Forest in the immediate games afterwards.

Arsenal triumphed 6-0 in this fixture last season and have lost only one of the two sides’ last nine Premier League meetings.
