Mayank Markande has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 27-year-old is a leg-spinner and plies his trade for Punjab in domestic cricket.

He has played 38 first-class games, 64 List-A games, and 81 T20s so far. In first-class cricket, Markande has taken 113 wickets while in List A cricket, he has picked up 101 wickets. He has 88 wickets in T20s.

In the IPL, Mayank has represented three teams so far – Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His journey in the IPL began with Mumbai Indians in 2018. In his first season, he played 14 games and picked up 15 wickets. In 2019, he could play only 3 games before being released by Mumbai Indians. Mayank played only one game for Rajasthan Royals in 2020.

He once again represented Mumbai Indians in 2022 but played only 2 games. Ahead of the 2023 season, he was roped in by Sunrisers Hyderabad. In IPL 2023, Mayank played 10 games and picked up 12 wickets before taking 8 wickets in 7 games in IPL 2024.
