Kumar Kartikeya has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. The 26-year-old is a left-arm spinner and represents Madhya Pradesh in domestic cricket.

He has played 37 first-class games, 31 List-A games, and 31 T20s so far. In first-class cricket, Kumar has taken an impressive 164 wickets with the help of 9 five-wicket hauls while in List A cricket, he has 37 wickets. In T20s, he has picked up 32 wickets while maintaining a fine economy rate of 7.01.

In the IPL, Kartikeya has played for only one team so far – Mumbai Indians. He made his IPL debut in 2022. In his first season, he played 4 games and picked up 5 wickets with an economy rate of less than 8. In IPL 2023, Kumar claimed 5 wickets from 8 games.
