ILT20 2025 full schedule announced

The International League T20 (ILT20) has released the schedule for the third season of the tournament. ILT20 2025 will begin on Saturday (11th January) with a blockbuster clash between defending champions Mumbai Indians Emirates and Dubai Capitals at the Dubai International Stadium.

The International League T20 (ILT20) will be played across three venues in Dubai International Stadium, Abu Dhabi’s Zayed Cricket Stadium, and Sharjah Cricket Stadium. The season three of the tournament will see 34 matches being played between six different teams.

ILT20 will be played in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah

Dubai will be hosting 15 matches, 11 games will be played in Abu Dhabi while be hosting 8 games in the season three. The evening games will begin at 6:30 pm on weekdays, while the match will start at 6:00 pm on the weekends. On the double-header weekends, the afternoon games will be played at 2:00 pm.

After the thrilling opening game, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders will be in action on the second day of the ILT20 2025. They will be locking horns with Desert Vipers on Sunday, 12 January at the Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi. On the same day, Gulf Giants will be taking on Sharjah Warriorz in Dubai.

Some of the big names in Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Alex Hales, David Warner, Shimron Hetmyer, and Nicholas Pooran have been retained by their respective franchises while Jason Roy, Fakhar Zaman, Shai Hope, Lockie Ferguson, and few others will be making their debut.

CEO of ILT20, David White, talked about the upcoming third edition of the league, saying that they are set for an even better edition than the last two seasons. While highlighting the world-class batting lineup of teams, he said:

“We are set for a bigger and better edition of the DP World International League T20 as we unveil the schedule for Season 3 with the first ball to be bowled at our iconic Dubai International Stadium on Saturday, 11 January with the defending champions MI Emirates hosted by the Dubai Capitals in what would be a rematch of Season 2’s grand finale.

Our six teams have gathered a line-up of world-class T20 stars besides the best of the UAE talent who will combine to provide rich entertainment to cricket fans during the 34-match tournament.”
