Anmolpreet Singh goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Punjab batsman Anmolpreet Singh has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 30 lakh. A right-handed batsman, the 26-year-old has represented two teams in the IPL so far – Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

His journey in the IPL began in December 2018 when he was bought by Mumbai Indians in the auction ahead for IPL 2019. However, he could not play a single game in his first two IPL seasons.

Anmolpreet finally made his IPL debut in 2021 although it was also his only game of the season. In IPL 2022, he played two games for Mumbai Indians.

Ahead of IPL 2023, he was signed by Sunrisers Hyderabad. In his first season with the Sunrisers, Anmolpreet played 4 games before playing only 2 games in IPL 2024.

Overall, he has played 9 games in the IPL so far and has scored 139 runs at a strike rate of just below 121. In T20s, Anmolpreet has played 51 innings and scored 1204 runs with the help of a century and six half-centuries.
