New Zealand’s Champions Trophy 2025 campaign

The Black Caps started in a similar fashion as India with wins over Bangladesh and Pakistan. However the team fell short to achieve the target due to an emphatic spell of spin bowling from Varun Chakravarthy in their last group stage clash against India.

The most convincing win by far in the tournament was the manner in which they registered a splendid win over South Africa in the semi final of the tournament. Rachin Ravindra and Kane Williamson made remarkable centuries to put a mammoth total in front of the Proteas which they failed to achieve.
