“Yet to make his IPL debut, Bosch was previously part of the Rajasthan Royals as a net bowler and was signed by the franchise in 2022 as a replacement for Australiaโ€™s Nathan Coulter-Nile,” the statement further read.

“Mumbai Indians wish Lizaad a speedy recovery and extend a warm welcome to Corbin”

In an official statement released by Mumbai Indians, the 5-time IPL champions welcomed Bosch to the MI Family and wished a speedy recovery to the pacer Lizaad.

“Mumbai Indians sign Corbin Bosch. South African all-rounder Corbin Bosch has been signed by Mumbai Indians as a replacement for Lizaad Williams, who has been ruled out of TATA IPL 2025 due to an injury,” MI said in a post shared on X.

“Corbin was a part of the victorious Proteas’ U-19 team that lifted the ICC U-19 World Cup in 2014, notably winning the Player of the Match in the final for a magnificent spell of 4/15. He has been a regular across formats for his domestic team and made his debut for Proteas in 2024.

“A right-handed middle-order batter and right-arm fast bowler, Corbin has played 86 T20s, having taken 59 wickets and has recorded a highest score of 81 with the bat. Mumbai Indians wish Lizaad a speedy recovery and extend a warm welcome to Corbin into the #OneFamily.”
