Mohammed Shami castles Brydon Carse to pick his first ODI wicket since CWC 2023

Fast bowler Mohammed Shami made his ODI return after a year during the first ODI of the series between India and England in Nagpur. The 34-year-old pacer bowled a fantastic delivery to shatter the stumps of Brydon Carse as the batter looked to smash him out of the park.

Shami bowled a length delivery on off stump which seamed in after pitching. Carse saw an opportunity and slashed across the line in an attempt to smash the ball out of the ground. However, he didn’t connect and missed the ball completely.

The ball went on straight to hit the stumps as England’s position deteriorated further. Carse had no clue about the ball and was bowled for just 10 off 18 balls. It was Mohammed Shami’s first ODI wicket in more than a year.
